D3O, the global leader in impact protection, is proud to announce the launch of its brand new thought leadership publication, Impact Magazine. The UK-based company has teamed up with Seven46 to produce the magazine, which aims to provide an insight into the past, present and future of shock absorption technology with a variety of content.
The substance of this particular publication primarily focuses on the issues and challenges surrounding impact protection within the industrial health and safety sector. The magazine’s eight page ‘Big Issue’ feature delves deeper into the sector’s need to place an emphasis on workplace health and safety as a business investment, rather than a compliance issue. The magazine includes a wealth of views from leading PPE industry experts on setting the benchmark for future glove standards, as well as a look forward at the future of the industrial workplace.
Impact Magazine bridges its industrial focus back to D3O’s roots, and where it all began for the shock absorption solutions company, in sport with a connective piece on the influence of protective gloves from one industry to another. In an interview feature, world champion and soon-to-be Moto GP motorsport rider, Sam Lowes, speaks to Impact Magazine about performing to his maximum output while keeping safe on the track. The publication also looks into the key elements of creating an innovation culture and gives the reader a look into the work that goes on behind the scenes at the D3O lab.
Impact magazine will be available exclusively for the first time in its physical form at the world’s largest annual health and safety event, National Safety Congress and Expo 2016, which takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center from 17th-19th October. D3O encourages attendees to visit its booth location, 3152, in Hall D to collect a free copy of the magazine.
