D3O Named Official Supplier to BWT Alpine Formula One Team

As Formula One represents the pinnacle of motorsport engineering and performance, the collaboration shows the trust the motorsports industry has in D3O’s advanced protective materials. This new agreement highlights the company’s fast-growing presence at the highest level of international motorsport.

D3O materials are being used in the mechanics’ kneepads throughout the season, to ensure the best protection and performance during intense Formula One pit-stops. The team is also exploring new ways to incorporate the D3O materials and technology.

While D3O and its iconic orange protective materials have long been trusted by multiple teams across the Formula One paddock, this new agreement formalises its collaboration with BWT Alpine Formula One Team and shows the brand’s deeper commitment to innovating in motorsport at the highest level.

This partnership builds on D3O’s established leadership in motorcycle protection, collaborating with race suit manufacturers such as RST and Furygan, and supporting elite athletes including 33-time Isle of Man TT Champion Michael Dunlop MBE, BSB rider Lee Johnston and WSBK rider Tom Booth-Amos. In 2025, D3O secured the trademark for the use of the colour orange across protective gear in motorsport.
