D3O, the world’s leading impact protection brand has announced that Seth Jones has become an official brand ambassador.
Jones, who plays for the Columbus Blue Jackets, is recognised as one of the NHL’s top defensemen having made three NHL All-Star Game appearances and helped the US team win gold on three occasions, starting at the age of 16 at the IIHF World U18 Championship.
The two-year agreement sees D3O become the official protective-wear partner of Jones and the partnership will see Jones feature as the face of D3O’s brand activity in the ice hockey market.
He will also work closely with the D3O innovation team as part of the company’s new product development program for the ice hockey market.
D3O’s impact protection products are commercialized by CCM, which integrates D3O technologies into its player and goalie range including helmets, gloves and protective gear such as shoulder pads.
Each product is carefully crafted to allow maximum speed and comfort paired with the best impact protection on the market, placed in key risk areas following intensive product development and testing in both controlled and real-life environments.

CAA Sports brokered the deal with D3O on behalf of its client Jones.
